HC-2 HELLERS CAFE RAW JEANS IN 12 oz RINSED SELVEDGE DENIM
DEADSTOCK - HELLERS CAFE MADE BY WAREHOUSE & CO.
MADE IN JAPAN
CINCH-BACK
DEEP RISE
STRAIGHT LEG FIT
SCOOPED VINTAGE DETAIL POCKETS
OXIDISED RIVETS & BUTTONS
SOFT DEERSKIN LEATHER LABEL
VINTAGE DETAILING BY LARRY McKAUGHAN / HELLER'S CAFE
This is rare high end Japanese Selvedge denim. RRP is £349 from Son of a Stag.
More detail:
The jeans are cut from sanforized, rinsed 12 oz. denim. The fabric itself is alive with slubby character and has a wonderfully rough hand feel, something Warehouse have lovingly reproduced through tweaking the chatter on their looms. The jeans were released in a raw and rinsed wash, and that's what you see here.
As you'd expect from these guys, the attention to detail extends to the fabrication. One of the standout details is the single needle stitching throughout.
Another nice touch is the felled outer leg seam, giving a single visible folded selvedge edge, a detail seen on vintage workwear. The felled seam makes it much stronger. Once piece selvedge button fly.
The scalloped back pockets are a nice vintage inspired detail and they're also lined with the same cotton used for the front pocket bags. The light tan patch is deerskin and will age beautifully.
I was given these jeans by Warehouse in 2015 when this collection was launched. Worn once or twice, but that's it. Grab yourself a bargain.
These jeans are brand new without tags.
Only selling as I'm thinning out my vintage / heritage clothing collection. Please see my other items.
